Chris speaks with Aubrey Reichard-Eline, co-owner of Unwind Yoga & Wellness of New Providence, NJ. Unwind Yoga was founded in July 2018 by Shirley Fee and Aubrey. They seek to make yoga and wellness easy and approachable for all. It is one of the few studios in the area that was designed specifically for yoga and the practice of the various wellness modalities. The teachers on staff combine for more than 100 years of yoga teaching experience. They have classes for all ages and levels; and have special classes for kids and families. The also keep things innovative and new with workshops featuring drummers and singing bowls.

Community causes:
We are passionate about giving back to the community and being a wellness center that is approachable and comfortable for all.
We have hosted local Girl Scout troops to build confidence and strength for these lovely ladies.
At Unwind, we have regular free karma classes that are donation based for several charities from The Semper Fi Fund, Autism Speaks to an upcoming June event for Alzheimer?ÇÖs. As pediatric cancer, specifically a brain tumor in my 9 year old last year, has very closely touched my life we regularly support 2 local charities for pediatric cancer warriors – The Valerie Fund and New Providence based The Brooke Healey Foundation.
We host Momcology Caregiver Coffee Breaks every month in partnership with Bagel Cafe NP.
We also offer free classes to pediatric cancer care givers and have gifted an annual membership to a wicked strong teenage cancer warrior from Summit.
We have also started working with Silver Limings Foundation based in Berkeley Heights – giving free meditation to a person for them.
About Aubrey: In corporate merchandising by day, I found yoga as a way to balance out the crazy of day to day life with a fast paced career and a family. I hope to have yoga and paying it forward as my day job soon. I am an Olympic cheerleader, forever sending out good vibes that was put to the test last year when pediatric cancer touched my home. I wouldn?ÇÖt change a thing and use humor and kindness to help change the world one small step at a time.
Best moment as a business owner: Seeing what we have built helping people. Most memorably was New Years Day, we had a packed house, the energy was off the charts and everyone left class in a good place and super complimentary. It is an amazing feeling when you can feel that this space and what we offer are helping people.
Favorite activity in New Jersey: Bagels! Ice cream outings with the family… and the Jersey Shore!
